after christmas shopping!!!

so today i recieved my magnetic hair curlers from avon. they did not come in a case :( i was very saddened by this. but then i remembered a clear cosmetic case i got in a large red/ silver set at walmart after christmas shopping with my sister and mom in cali!!!! SCORE!!!! they all fit. its snug but its better then nothing until i find something a little bit larger they would fit it ( would like a 5x5 square case( about 3 inches tall or 4) lol incase you spot something. this wonderful thing made me think of my other scores, an ivory fabric place set with matching cloth napkins set for 8 ---- less then 5 dollars!!!! 8 charger plates total 4.50!!!!! I CANT WAIT TO GO OUT AND DO IT AGAIN!!!! i think i get more excited for the after christmas shopping that we do then the actual act.

especially since now beck has her house to decorate and cliff and i will be looking for houses soon and i want to nest!!!!

so im starting to wonder if there is a program i can buy to make my own candle labels in different sizes and or shapes or whatnot. verses tring to buy them and then needing multiple sizes and it not being like the pre ordered ones.... hmmmm google here i come

Well I got quite excited today when I logged in to see if my sister (becky- because chocolate cant get you pregnant blog) had commented on my latest blog about making candles and them needing a name. sure enough there was a comment! BUT NOT FROM HER. 

side note. my sister is a huge blogger and has bugged me forever to do my own. and then when i did, i never blogged enough. she would call and while we are talking telling me to blog. why do i need to blog for you to read when i am telling you right now? LOL any way i would.

candle making!

so apparently i should be selling the candles i have been making. i have been told this a few times buy a few different people.

Ribbon is a popular item for scrapbooking and cardmaking, but how do you keep it organized and accessible? How about a ribbon dispenser...made with a photo box and eyelets.

Measure and mark where you want your eyelets to go. I placed mine right next to each other so that I could fit a lot of them, please see pictures.
Cut holes with a craft knife or punch (I traced the eyelets and cut them out with a craft knife).

Place eyelets inside holes and set with tool supplied inside the eyelet package, using a hammer.
